Primo Carnera was born a big baby, to a Norlander father and a sweet and loving Caelian mother. He had a fairly normal childhood growing up in Caelia; he would help his father in the workshop, learn his trade and all the while play with the other children in his spare time. Being a spitting image of his father, Primo was growing into a very big man prompting him to eat a lot more than his peers. Primo's father was a stern but good man, spending a lot of time with his son even out of the workshop, teaching him how to hold an axe and how to skin a hare, but how to be calculating and smart as well. At age 19, he could handle a boar with his bare hands, fought thieves and drunkards threatening peaceful citizens, and as always, eating as much as he could to compliment his big size. When he turned 22, he decided it was time to begin his own adventure just like his father, and venture out to seek his fortune and claim his prize in life. He started by joining the Caelian army.
Primo looked down onto the man, with a surprised look on his face.
He waited patiently for the man to finish, taking a hold of his purse as to not attract any thieves preying on a distracted man whose waist is so convenient for an act of petty thievery.
Primo mutterered to the man standing before him: "What brings me to the city is none of your business, little man. You're dressed in fancy rags, what is your trade?"
The gentleman, too scared of insulting the large man, responded: "I trade in coats and furs, boots, belts and pretty pelts. I will show you my bazaar, if you like."
"Aye, you could show me. Perhaps you could lead me to a good tavern as well" Primo proclaimed, satisfied with the results of this encounter.
