Adonis was privy to a loving home and affluent parents as a child. They hailed from The Kingdom of Norland though Adonis went out on his own ventures at some point down the line. His mother and father always encouraged him to be a polite man, that's one thing that stuck with him all along. He lived by respect, showing it to all those he encountered, until disrespected.
Upon leaving his home he began to travel the lands, seeking business ventures that would earn him the respect he always craved from his father. He sought to achieve wealth by any means necessary, so that he too could provide a loving home for his own one day.
Several months into his journey, he came across a man who had convinced him he had finally found his break. He donated all of his travelling funds to the operation in hopes he would see a great return. One morning he awoke at the tavern he and his associate were staying, and the man was gone.
Out of luck, funds, and filled with spite he went off to search for the man. Several months past and he finally gave up his venture, so he decided to return to his home to his father.
Upon arriving, the house had been abandoned, no signs of struggle or violence, simply empty. Eventually the kingdom seized the house and all properties on grounds that his father had been involved in some sort of treason. Assuming his family was exiled or executed, he went back out to the wilderness in search. A search that never came up with anything.
The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
"A resting place, I suppose... It has been a long journey... and my knees are no longer what they used to be." he sits at the chair, squinting his eyes "I come from..." He pauses.
"I suppose where I come from is a bit complicated... a bit of everywhere." His hands then fold on the table as he eyes the witchy looking woman.
"I have been travelling for as long as I remember. I once resided in the the heart of the Ravenmire, however, that is no longer my home. I suppose, home is that which I seek. A place to die in peace."
He then stands
"I should get going... did you need something from me before I go?"
