    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Taking out of character information and using it to change roleplaying or benefiting your character. EG: Your friend tells you OOC that someone is a criminal and then in RP you accuse them of being a criminal.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Forcing actions to happen to another character or yourself in order to get your character ahead. EG: Saying your character kills someone without letting them defend themself.

Maximillian believes he born the same ol’ way any other halfling was born, from a cabbage patch in the ground cause by a Elder plantin’ it. Ofcourse, he was really born through natural means. He was a stilted child after getting into a chest full of ‘baby brains’. This led Maximillian to develop mentally slower than everyone else because of this he gained a warped view of Halfling culture and a rather strange obsession with pigeons. He imagined that ‘doing the best for the community’ really meant trying to trick con others in order to get riches. This led Maximillian to be adopted into very small (and not very troublesome) gangs. In these gangs he had achieved some of the worst punishments known to a halfling such as the Title of improperness and a few whacks with the shovel. Lately Maximillian has sworn off his bad ways and is trying to be an honest man.

Physical Description: My character is a slender Halfling male with a keen look in the eye. He has curly mud-brown hair that goes to his shoulders. He's average height.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Ø Halflings being born from a cabbage field is just part of the halfling mythology, and not actually how they are born. It is fine as a lore reference, but please change how your character was born.
