    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is using info outside your character, like if you knew someone's name, or that there is a battle going on, even though your character would have no access to that information.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: PowerGaming is having your character do something in role play that they would realistically be unable to do, it is also when you emote something where the other person can't resist, like automatically cutting someone's head off.

Illua Farhana is a traveler, and roams around the realm of Atlas, she mostly prefers to stay in the colder areas, but is willing to go to warmer areas to meet new people and discover new things. Her goal is to at least live till she is 1000, since that is the standard age for an elf, but is happy living longer than that as well. When Illua farhana was 15 years old she started training to become an officer and join battle. As time passed and she got closer and closer to the time she would be allowed to enter battle she started to regret her decision. She decided to never enter battle, for the fear of getting blood on her hands and/or dying in battle. She is usually shy and timid but loves to learn new things, especially about other races. She is most fascinated by the Kha, due to their cat-like features, and the fur they have all over their bodies. Illua's parents taught her to stay away from other races, especially of other elves. As a child there were multiple attacks on snow elves by other elves. She then ran away from her home at age 30 when she didn't want to go to battle, and she started exploring Atlas.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Your powergaming definition is close, but there is a whole other part of it you do not touch on.

Elves can actually live for upwards of 1000 years, not 100 in our lore.
