    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Knowing things that your character (in the role-play) does not or should not know because you found out the information through a not-the-game source. Example: Friend in Real life tells me in real life that he/she is dying, I run to help in game even thou
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: When you attack someone but don't let them respond in game, such as saying "I attack you and cut off your head", instead of saying "I attack you and attempt to cut off your head", and letting them have a chance to block the attack.

Brat'ek A'llale Berr'ante was born in 1627 to a moderately wealthy family of 3 children living in Axios, within the city of Linandria. He was picked on for not being smart and he wished that he could show his bullies that he was worthy of their friendship. In 1641, Axios was destroyed by natural disasters and so the Berr'ante family left to Atlas, where they now live, in Caras Eldar, the capitol of the Dominion of Malinor. Brat'ek developed a skill for archery and began to train as an archer. At this time his mother died, causing Brat'ek to have to put archery on hold to sustain his family, (as his father was crippled on the voyage to Atlas) . He used his skills to hunt and provide for his father and his 2 sisters. However, his father was healed and Brat'ek decided to put his skills to good use. He left home and became an adventurer.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
