Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
After giving the elderly hag a quick glance, Nyvyra reluctantly sits herself across from her. She was skeptical of her intentions, and yet she chose to humor her. "My story? Well, where do I even begin...?" She murmurs in response, placing a forefinger to her chin as she considers everything that has happened to her thus far. "Well, I guess I should start with how I got here in the first place..." She got up and began pacing back and forth dramatically, as if she were in a play. "I traveled the world with my family. Well, that was until my family disappeared one day... I was waking up like usual, but I didn't hear my family... they weren't there.." She paused before continuing. "It was rather odd, because it's always busy at that time of day so I decided to investigate. What I stumbled across was a very empty campsite, empty but everything was still there... It's as if every single family member of mine had vanished out of thin air, It was a very unexplainable and curious phenomenon... I searched and searched until I could no longer move my body..." She spoke quietly, her voice turning somber. "I was heartbroken and confused... how did they disappear? I don't know... so now I've been wandering around aimlessly to look for clues and find answers as to why they had disappeared suddenly... and so far? I've had no luck at all."
