Henry was born in Markev to the father of a Blacksmith. His mother was unfortunate enough to die giving birth to him, but his father takes well enough care of him. As a Highlander, Henry dreamed of joining the army but found it better to produce weapons and armour for them with his father. He is a shy sort of boy, not the courageous type. He prefers to stay indoors than go out drinking with his friends. Whenever he has the chance he watched his father work and occasionally gets to help him. With chance Henry could become a blacksmith like his father.. though he longs to see the entire world and explore it’s dangers. He currently works as his father’s apprentice but if he built up the bravery that could change.

They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
