Alasselóraner's early memories consisted of physical beatings from his father and mental degradation from his mother. Born into poverty, Alasselóraner (Lóran) ran away at nine, living on the streets of Ker'nor for over a decade. During that time, Lóran learned to fight, cook, and thieve to survive. 16 years later, Lóran was awoken on the streets by an elderly wood-elf, asking of his story. Days later, Lóran found himself under the teachings of his new mistress, who sought an heir to pass on their knowledge before their time came. Knowing her end was nigh and her sterility preventing her from having a child, Lóran's mother taught him everything she knew, from literature, to swordplay and archery, to music and art. After 35 years of education, Lóran's mistress passed on, leaving Lóran with but a simple word: "live". Now, Lóran seeks adventure and knowledge, and he travels across Atlas to fulfill his mistress' final wish.
