    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: It's really just breaking the fourth wall. Giving a roleplay character knowledge that they shouldn't have given the circumstance they live in.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is basically when someone does something within a roleplay that's, like, doesn't consider or value the storyline or atmosphere.

Euphoria Astalos is a sweet and naive girl, and the emotion most experience around her is described by her name.


She was born 142 years ago and grew up deep in the woodlands of Caras Eldar with her father and older sister, learning a great appreciation for the fauna and flora that always surrounded her.  Her father is a travelling salesman, so she was mostly raised by her sister.  As she’s gotten older, she’s dabbled in herbalism and druidism. 

 

She was never able to meet and interact with her mother, as she passed away giving birth.

 

Sometimes Euphoria feels guilt for the loss she believes she caused, but her father and sister console her, ensuring her that it is in fact not her fault.

 

As she’s gotten older, Euphoria has felt drawn to the outskirts of Caras Eldar, and even beyond that.  One day, she’d love to adventure and explore throughout all of Atlas, learning more about her peoples’ history.

Physical Description: She has quite long and silky brown hair, and somewhat fair skin for her race. She's around 4'11" and has slight and soft curves.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
