    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Taking information from outside of roleplay and using it to the advantage of your character or in character affiliates. An example would be knowledge of a planned raid exchanged casually over discord, which someone then uses to alert people ingame.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Emoting something that forces a situation on another player where they should be able to react normally. An example is crushing someone with a boulder that was rolled off of a cliff, but not giving them time to react.

Helra was born to a pair of hunters named Meera and Kevak Abyn, in Caras Eldar, who celebrated her live birth with friends and family(at least, what little biological family they had). From a young age she displayed a talent for academia that she never fully realized, having little interest in pursuing an education past basic reading and writing. Quick for an elf to change and develop, she still never quite grew out of this mindset as she moved on through her “early adult years”,  at least by human standards. Instead in  more recent years, much to the dismay of her parents, her interests began extending themselves beyond the city she was raised in. She never really kept to close to anyone, so there weren’t many farewells to be made, least not in her opinion, but a few family members she loosely recognized showed up to show her off, some asking why she felt the need to leave so early. Thinking of something on the spot, she simply said she had to get used to traveling around so others like her wouldn’t be confined to the city. She guesses that’s why she left, thinking back on it, but she really just needed some space.

Physical Description: An Elven cook with dark blue skin stands before you, her hair cut shorter than average for her kind. As per usual, she is donning her apron uniform.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
