Ithronel is so busy gawking at the brilliant banners and vibrant cacophony of the bazaar that she nearly stumbles into the man. “Why, hello there!” she stammers, her pulse quickening. “I’m so sorry, please forgive my clumsiness. My name is Ithronel, and I was wondering if I might be able to... to...”

 

Her voice trails off. She knows why she’s here, but to reveal her sorrows and her history to this kind stranger would be foolish at best. “Well,” she continues, cracking a small smile, “I suppose I was hoping to make some friends.”
