Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Example: "Good tidings, I bring the utmost graces for this invitation. House Orenyth sends their paramount regard." He lifts his head, scanning the tent's interior thoroughly. "What a wondrous tent you have here, and these candles here are delightful to smell," he proclaimed as he closed his eyes and leaned into the floating candles for a sniff. "The story all starts with my family searching for a new beginning," he spoke as he lowered himself to the cushion below. "Thandúriel is my father. From my understanding, he and my uncles arrived at this very place not long ago, in search of a better life for themselves and their children. I live the path my father paved for me," he spoke, as he shifted on his cushion. "My uncles and my father serve Númendil, and I want to travel the path that they took. I want to serve the kingdom like they did, to bring Aevos to total peace," he spoke louder and louder, beaming with pride in every word.
