    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is using information that would not be known to your character. An example would be using information on magic from the wiki even if your character has no knowledge on it.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is forcing another player to take an action with now chance to RP themselves. An example would be approaching someone and claiming you have successfully robbed them through your RP without letting them respond

Ghilgen was born into the Grandaxe clan by a dutiful father, Sigrend, and a loving mother, Sventlier.  His father was a humble blacksmith within the city of Kal’Omith, while his mother would run their shop. Life within the city was comfortable, but Ghilgen knew there was more for him to see and do in the world beyond those cozy walls. He had dreamed of taking up his father’s legacy of smithing, but what called him even more was the life of a scholar. An opportunity finally came to travel when a caravan had arrived near the town. Bound for Adria, Ghilgen knew this would be the perfect opportunity to see what the world had in store for him. He had packed up his few belongings, said farewell to his parents, and began his own grand adventure.

Character Age: 65
Physical Description: Ghilgen is 4'5, 120 lbs. He has a full head of red hair, an equally full beard, and deep green eyes.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
