    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is knowing information in character that you've received out of character, or knowing things (Like a location) that you know in real life, but not in game.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is making an action and/or an emote without giving the victim time to react (*Stabs through heart, killing them* Ect.)

          Rae was born into a very loving family that included her mother, father, and sister. For years they were a very happy and normal family that lived in Atlas. Rae was particularly close to her sister, Joela, she and Rae were one another’s impulse control. As well as the person who they would go to for comfort, advice, or just help in general. They would tell each other everything and they were best friends.They were both really interested in the discovery of Atlas by the Descendants, wishing to even be blown off course as they were at times, so they had an addiction for naval charts.  The family would do happy things together like work together and have family time.  

          One day, one fateful day, the day that would change Rae’s life forever. Rae and her sisters best friend, Louis, knocked on their door late one night. Rae, who is still sleeping, woke to the sound of pleading and begging and screams. Too afraid to leave the comfort of her room, she sat there listening until the awful noises had stopped. Rae carefully opened the door and the state she saw in front of her scarred her. Her mother and father dead on the floor stab one could be seen in both of their chests. Her sister had her eyes closed and was on her knees and Louis had a sword pointed at her chest. He hesitates moment. To this day Rae didn’t why he did hesitate but after that small short moment of hesitation, he killed Joela. The genocide clean and quiet. Rae stared at the site in horror and then forced her self to run. She escaped out of a window and ran for her dear life. Rae disappeared into the night, and never saw anyone from her old village again.

           She heard that she was the one blamed for her family’s murder and knew that she could never go back. So Rae moved from town to town, being careful not to make any close friends. She did however make one close friend, whose name was Elizabeth. Elizabeth was a dark elf and therefore in danger at all times as well. She and Rae became close friends, but one tragic day Elizabeth was taken hostage and killed in front Rae. From that day on, Rae knew not to talk to anyone unless absolutely necessary and never get close to anyone. Ever.

Physical Description: Rae had flame-red hair and ice green eyes. She had hawkish features and a wild look that suggested she was always on the run, a mischievous smile.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
