Sejanus was born to a tavern girl in the Holy Orenian Capital, his specific human race is unknown to himself, as his father was unknown even to his mother.
Sejanus' family only consisted of his mother and half brother, his mother doing the best she could to raise the two, but he had only known that life till he was 6. Sadly his mother hadn't survived the pregnancy of her third child. And left the boys alone with no other family. Sejanus had to leave his small home in Helena without money to pay for the taxes.
Sejanus and his brother Marcus were taken in to small Canonists convents of GOD and small orphanages from time to time, until he was too old for his caretaker to hold with all the other children when he was 11. Sejanus took his brother Marcus to make a life for themselves, doing small work he could for himself and his brother, living in abandoned homes until being kicked out and on to the next. He made quite little, only finding work chopping wood, or cleaning chimneys and stables.
When Sejanus had just shortly turned 12, his brother became ill in winter as they set off for the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska to take on better work as a farmer with lodging and food. The offer was to help prepare the crops and livestock once the ground thawed. But the cold had gotten him and his brother quite ill, and his brother being 8 years old hadn't been able to fight off the cold so easily on the roadsides. They both had made it to the farm, but his brother remained sick even after warmed. And died three months later from pneumonia.
The family that had taken him on as an extra hand treated him well, though unable to pay anything. Sejanus did remain rather distant on an affectionate level, but became friendly with the family.
Sejanus chose to go to the Holy Orenian Capital, Providence. a foreign place to him now, but he was ready to build a new, hopefully better, life for himself. GOD Willing

Sejanus looked to the man confused, wondering how many people really had those crazy dreams. Inhaling before he replied with a cautiousness of the stranger "Just looking for work, in Providence, that's all.. G'day now..." Sejanus replied as he walked off, speeding his pace as he wanted to escape the weird man.
He began to wander the cities Markets, butcher shops, bakeries, and taverns. Asking multiple people for work of any kind.
"Excuse me, miss," Sejanus said as he waved to a rather ugly looking tavern wench. Though she seemed to deliberately ignore him as she chatted up with some other ruffians, laughing about "I'd like a room please-" Sejanus said somewhat frustrated as he grunted, finally he was helped by another girl working there, surely no older than himself. He felt somewhat relieved as the girl was easier to look at than the other. "A room, you said? Its 10 Mina a night, we can give you boiled oats for breakfast, but im afraid you have to fetch your own supper." The young girl replied, Sejanus gave a gentle nod as he took his small coin bag, counting out ten of the coins, noticing he only had twelve, though he quietly took all the coins, giving them to the girl as a tip with the fee. "Thank you, miss. You don't know of any work do you?.." The young girl counted out the coins as she shook her head, a slight smile crossed her face a she pocketed the two spare coins, looking back to him "Thank you- but im sorry I don't.. Maybe try the guards, they're always hiring, its not so hard now that Empress Anne has kept the peace. But im sorry, people come to the capital for work all the time, thinking just because its a big place there's work everywhere.. I have to get back to it, sorry. Enjoy your stay though-" The girl said before they could exchange names, going over to a man calling out for her.
Sejanus went up to his small room, getting on the straw bed as he wondered what he'd do next.
