Koroval spent most of his life within the Dwarven city of Kal'Nerroth. His father was the owner of a smithy, and was well-trained in the use of a forge and anvil. Koroval adopted most of his metalworking knowledge from his father, who taught him the main aspects as an apprentice. However, that life quickly became tedious to someone like Koroval: who yearned for more exciting prospects. And so he set off on his own to find a greater purpose.

They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
