Roosson

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

*Faewynn shudders as the crone starts to speak*

" "Expecting me.... what do you mean?"

*Her eyes bounce cautiously at the cushion* 

"I dont even know where I am,how could you be... expecting me"

She stares into the hags cold and unchanging eyes as she slowly sits, eyes never leaving the hags gase*

"My names Faewynn..Faewynn Farevale, theres not much story to tell honestly,My parents have been gone awhile and theres nowhere where I truely feel I belong"

*She pauses slightly and shifts uncomftably in her seat before talking again*

"Ive spent my life always running trying to find somewhere to call home and someone I can trust but it seems thats hard to come by nowadays,but something tells me you already knew that

*Her hand moves slowly towards a small knife hidden under her cloak trying not to draw attention,she looks curiously at the crone*

"so....how do you know who I am....."
