Reyvn grew up the daughter of two woodworkers / carpenters whom she resented throughout her life. Reyvn at heart is an adventurer, she always sought to get out into the world, make friends and find her place. Her parents however were weary of the dangerous world, her father and mother alike having been victims of attacks by dwarves who hate the elves.
Because of her upbringing Reyvn is quiet and guarded, but she dearly wishes to open herself up. She desires friendship and connections but is weary of marriage due to her despise for her parents. Her lust for adventure is unsatible and has throughout her life been unexplored.
Because of these desires she was eternally in conflict with her parents, while they grew to resent her. Eventually when she turned eighteen they got into a furious argument that ended in Reyvn storming out their home in search of the Domion of Malin

They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
