    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Doing something that you cant do physically do in real life

When he was born his parents were imprisoned for treason and he was taken in by a gang of thieves. His entire life he was taught that bad was good and good was bad. When talking to people he is a little shy and may not complete full conversations. He is always on a quest and speaking to more and more people to get help on his quest.  He has no talent in long range, when fighting he uses agility to get close but if he is far away and gets hurt he wont be able to get close enough to attack and he will try to flee. He doesn't have very many friends, he lost most of them when he left the gang of thieves. The only family member he has is his pet chicken, that stays at his home. When his parents were imprisoned they were put in the Kingdom of Haense jailhouse, and that's were the gang of thieves were located. His quest if to find a way back to the Kingdom of Haense and save his parents.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
