    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: trying to get your character to be as strong as possible, ignoring said characters personality and character traits. For example a Character may decline combat or a rare item, becouse his persona would as well. A powergamer would never dicline, so long as

Milo Goodsong, for most of his life, dwelled in one of the smaller halfling houses in Brandy Brook, in Arcas. Though he has lived a peacefull life and had always been more interested in music and literature than in fighting or adventure, he has now changed. The reason being an encounter with a traveling Bard. While drinking some of the finest ale one could get hold off with some of his friends in the tavern of Brandy Brook, which had been a present for his 50th birthday, said Stranger started to sing. He sang of far distant Lands, of dwarfen mines and elfen forests. Milo, already quite drunk, listened to this and after that day, the seed of wonderlust and adventure was planted in his head. All the great things he had heard about not only by the bard, but also by other travelers were to him unitll then mere storys. And after his 51rst Birthday, only a year later, he finally decided to commit to his wish of going out into the the world. He would no longer waste away his life in Brandy Brook, and instead go traveling the lands, and see the mines, forests and all the other races which untill then were only rare visitors, seen only ever so often in his hometown. He packed all necessities he would need, and without telling anyone except his closest friends he wondered off, into new lands, starting his quest for adventure. ?‍♂️

Physical Description: Milo Goodsong stands at a hight of 3 Feet and has a lean build, brown curly hair, green eyes, always the same green jacket and a slight smirk.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

For the following reasons,

  • Your definitions on metagaming and powergaming are not quite right, make sure you use examples to show your understanding of the concept.
  • Your biograph should have 7 complete sentences and at least two pieces of lore from the server. The location’s mentioned in your biography are also a part of  an Old Continent your character could have not been in with its age. The following links can help you with this.
  • Your description should be longer to make sure it describes what your character looks like.
  • Your interesting facts should follow the following format and be complete sentences.
    • Positive fact:(Strengths, achievements, skills)
    • Neutral fact: (Personality traits, likes, dislikes, hobbies)
    • Negative fact: (Weakness, flaw, fear)

Make sure you make these corrections on the following 24 hours
