You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

The lone ranger pushed open the creaking doors of the dimly lit tavern, his weathered boots echoing on the wooden floor. The barkeep, glanced up from polishing a mug and sized up the stranger with wary eyes.

"What brings you to these parts, stranger?" the barkeep asked, pouring a shot of whiskey into a glass.

The ranger leaned against the worn counter and removed his wide-brimmed hat, revealing a mop of unruly dark hair. "I'm on a hunt for a bandit that's been causing trouble in these lands," he replied, his voice steady and filled with determination. "Word on the trail is that this tavern might have some information, For have I come from the far lands in search of the one they call Garlock" "guide my way, I shall repay kindly".

The barkeep's eyes narrowed slightly, but she nodded. "Aye, there's been talk of a bandit camp up in the hills. Folks say they gather here for supplies and to plan their next moves."

The ranger's grip tightened on the hilt of his trusty blade. "I aim to put an end to their mischief. Any specifics you can share? Names? Faces?"

The barkeep leaned in, lowering her voice. "There's one fella they call Black Jack. Meanest of the bunch. If you're looking for answers, he might be your best bet. But be careful, stranger. They're a dangerous lot."

The lone ranger nodded in gratitude, the weight of his mission etched on his face. "Thanks for the tip, friend. I'll handle Black Jack and his gang. And when I return, this tavern will be free of their shadow." With a determined nod, he turned and headed toward the door, ready to face the perils that awaited him on his quest for justice.
