David was born on the outskirts of Senntisten, from a young age David was always extremely curious towards anything and everything around him, he would often wander into the deep city or surrounding wilderness to learn and observe as much as he could. His mother was a chef and his father a bard, both of which ran a small tavern. They were both very dedicated to their craft so David was often away from his tavern home.

He spent most of his time at a small barracks just outside the city, there he made friends with the soldiers and was fascinated by their training and technique. Once he grew older he began to study the doctors at the barracks, and made a small living from helping them treat wounded soldiers, however it was always his dream to become a solider himself and have many glorious battles, whenever he had time to himself, he would use what he had observed from the soldiers’ training, and practiced with a stick.

One day, he came to the barracks and found his old friend, William Schmidt, being attacked by a solider of higher power, mocking his swordsmanship and calling it disgraceful. Out of vengeance, David challenged the solider to a duel., he was only 15 at the time, but he was confident in his ability. As he gripped the glimmering iron blade, he became temporarily flustered by its weight but quickly adapted.

The duel began, David took a very defensive stance, he wasn’t trained by a professional, but in that moment, David’s mind was clear and he was prepared to completely humiliate this solider. The solider was aggressive, striking with strong downwards slashes. David was aware that his opponent was much physically stronger than him and used his superior mobility to dodge the deadly attacks, the solder eventually struck with a forward thrust however his footing was off, David noticed this and swiftly countered.

The outcome of the battle seemed clear, but David took a glance at the soldiers shoulder and noticed a particular symbol. He deducted that the solider was from the Carolus Brigade, and for a minute, got cold feet. The solider kicked his stomach whilst he was distracted, and the battle suddenly became a clash of swords. The solider was strong and powerful, and David knew that he had very little chance of winning at this point, however his drive wouldn't let him back down and he let out a ferocious cry. It wasn’t enough though, and the solider overpowered him. He then swiftly let out a strike at David’s head and a distinct slice was heard. He looked at his hand, it was covered in blood dripping from him face, his left eye had been sliced out.

David woke up in the barracks’ sleeping quarters, there was a large amount of cloth over his face, William was there beside him and as soon as we awoke he let out the pleasant works of: “Thank you”, whilst a tear ran down his left cheek.

He kept studying after the battle, however he now had even more drive to prove his place as a warrior. He grew older, and as he passed through town, he saw a notice that asked for practiced doctors in Sutica. David was now 19, and was about to being his journey to the coastal city to meet professional doctors and sharpen his craft when he was interrupted by William, he offered him a sheathed broadsword.

As he unsheathed the blade, he noticed that it was stained dark red and William told him that it was his late grandfather’s, he was a travelling blacksmith, and that this sword was his prized possession. David humbly accepted the weapon, and swiftly equipped the sword.

David now travels the land of Arcas, helping where he can with his medicinal expertise whilst learning swordsmanship and medicine from anyone who will teach him.

Hi! As you can see, your app is almost ready! Although there are some changes you need to make, so don’t worry!

There’s only one thing that seems to be off in your application ?

Your first character cannot start with such knowledge as knowing how to be a doctor. This must be learned in roleplay!

Besides that, I really enjoyed your application, it was a good read!

Make sure you do them within 24 hours, or the app will be denied unless i am contacted!

Whenever you are done, or have any questions.  feel free to message me via the forums, or in-game with /message chaosgamer_ If i’m not around there, add me on discord at chaos#7283.

If you still need help, make sure to check the wiki! WIKI

While you wait, you can join the new player discord here :https://discord.gg/eySYjqw
