Daenyill was born a wood elf in Aegrothond in 1799 in Arcas to Dordris (his father) and Falia (his mother) Elmyar. His family emigrated to the Realm of Elvenesse from Arca when he was a year old. He was raised in a medium sized home that was comfortable for him and his family. Daenyill had no siblings as his parents only wished for one child, but every night he would pray for god to give him a little brother or sister. Every day after Daenyill came back home after a day at school, his father used to take him out back to where he kept the targets, and taught him archery and how to use a bow. One of his ancestors fought in Garthon’s Great War of Unity, and defended his home against the Draoi usurper, so it would be correct to assume that Daenyill inherited his warrior gene from one of his ancestors. Daenyill did not have many friends, and the only person he called his friend was his uncle. But when Daenyill was seven years old his uncle Raensol forced Daenyill's parents into a cave, leaving man eating spiders to eventually kill and eat his parents. When Daenyill found out about his parents tragic death, he was filled with anger and knew his uncle had something to do with it. So being the the stubborn, angry kid, Daenyill grabbed a bow and a single arrow aimed it at his uncle's chest, and avenged his parents. His grandfather, whose family had been living in Irrinor in 1690, ten years after it's founding by Diarchs Artanis Sa'Roir Caerme'onn and Avius Csarathaire, with the permission of the high prince and Fëanor Sylvaeri, took in Daenyill and taught him everything he knew about wielding a bow. When Daenyill was 15, his grandfather suddenly became sick and died a few weeks later, causing Daenyill to have much grief for a year. Three years later, when Daenyill turned eighteen and got out of school he had decided to go adventuring the world discovering artifacts and exploring the world, and also fought with Norland in the Norland-Oren Conflict because they shared his beliefs in the red faith.
"Hello good sir! I am actually here in search of an old friend, you see. I recently discovered an ancient scroll written in an ancient language in a large cave south of here. **Shows the scroll**. I was never the one to learn old languages, but my friend however has always been interested in philology, so I am here for his help. He wrote to me telling me he has been working at the Bizarre Bazaar for the past four years, so would you be so kind as to tell me where it is?" **Hands man a gold coin**.
