Tyler was in the middle of a bid battle, he was by himself as his friend had been slain. He only had to more high elf's to kill. He still had no idea how he got himself here, all he did was pick some apple from a tree. It comes to him at the last moment of battle, maybe they were "mad" because of these apples were part of their "sacred" land. He quickly tried to stop the fight and bargain his way out of the situation, after all, that had happened. They ceased fire and he started asking questions, eventually, he got them to let him go with at least an apple. Then, Tyler was back on his journey through Atlas. After a while, Tyler had made it to a point in his journey where he would rest for the night. He quickly set up camp for the night, he started gathering some sticks and kindling for the fire he was going to make. While he was looking for some kindling he saw a mark on the ground. He started walking towards the mark on the ground when he noticed it was an ancient symbol that had been spread out on the island. He quickly looked into his journal to see what this symbol meant. He had seen so many symbols before that, but what was weird was that he couldn't find the meaning of the symbol.

They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

((How does your character respond? Please ensure your response is at least six sentences long, and uses at least two actions.))

Example: (delete this when you add your own)

"Oh, I just, uh…" The traveler stutters, tensing up. They eye the crone, then back outside the shack. For a moment, the air thickens with anticipation, until…

Hi Tyler,

Thanks for making the edits to your application.

I am going to request you look into your meta gaming definition again. While you are on the right track your definitions are still partially incorrect. To point out a specific:

  • Metagaming is also not fun for roleplay because some people have just "run" across some people that were in trouble or just want to give them something randomly.

If I am understanding you correctly here, I believe you are mistaking meta gaming for powergaming. Please make this more clear.

While I am able to understand you know why meta gaming and powergaming are harmful for roleplay, I am not certain on if you clearly understand the meaning of meta gaming correctly.

Please refine your character's three interesting facts. Some of your facts can become an issue for powergaming. You are also entering the world as a new player, Tyler would not be known to other characters until you start out within the game. This would make it incredibly difficult for him to be well known as one of the best travelers around Atlas.

As we have been in contact on discord you may continue to message me here if you need any help. Thanks for working with me.
