at the age of 16 his childhood friend is diagnosed with a horrible curse, he vowed to find a cure for her; for years he tried finding someone or something that could cure his friend. Many years later he came across a man that was in a neighboring village. this man was going around healing the sick and selling potions to the guards. he rushed the man back to his village but by the time they arrived back, it was to late. a year passed where he was devastated, rarely going in public, until the man came back. he suggested that Raden learn alchemy and see the world. he left on his mission to help the sick, just like this man did.
suspiciously eyeing the man, he says in a quiet but stern voice "im looking to advance my craft, would you happen to know of any shops that sell medicinal herbs or raw materials"
