    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is the act of doing an action like attacking someone, and not giving them a choice to run away or block the attack.

Story Of Martin II.
 

He grown in Little Village in Kingdom of Renatus. He was son of blacksmith. When he was 14 his father has trained him archery and in the fight with the sword. Martin was good strategist and he was helping to other people in village. When he was 20 some Raegs attacked village where he lived. Raegs killed all members of his family and burned the village. He was fighting them, but he got injured. He had no chance to survive but some soldiers saved him in last moments. Before the attack started his father gave him symbol of his old clan. They took him and other survivors to one of city in Kingdom of Renatus. In the city he started working in city to make some gold. He was helping blacksmith, and he has became a blacksmiths apprentice. He became a faithful to Church of the Canon. When he was 27 he tried to join an army, he was so close to be accepted but something got wrong and he wasn´t accepted. He bought his own sword and armor ( He bought tunic on which was symbol of his dad´s clan). After 4 year of getting better at blacksmithing, fighting with sword and archery, he has left the city. To seek for an Adventure.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
