    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is using information that you learned outside of RP (OOC) and using it in RP (IC) and example would be if "Bob" was talking about his rebellion on Global and I used the information and reported him IC to the guards, therefore getting him punish
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is making yourself over powered like claiming that you're a god who can't be killed, or mutilating someones character (I.E. severing limbs, etc) or instantly killing someones character without permission

Kai Bayou was born and raised a peasant girl in the Kingdom of Haense, Her parents, Ani and Bjorn Bayou, were merchants, so she has a fairly good understanding of money and trade, growing up she didn’t have much education, she has a rudimentary understanding of reading and writing, but doesn’t know much about the world, and often comes across as ignorant to other people due to the fact that she doesn’t know much.

 

She left her parents home a few months ago, and since has been travelling the kingdoms tundra on her own, attempting to not only find goods that she can sell, but also a town or city that she deems suitable to live in.

 

She is usually seen by others as bubbly but maybe a little ignorant towards larger topics, such as world politics, she likes wearing dresses that are usually somewhat colorful.

 

Right now she just wants to buy her own home in a walled city, so that she may feel safe on her own, after that she may open her own business. She also wants to learn how to wield small weapons, such as daggers.

 

She dreams one day of marrying into a noble family, and living in a large house, and giving herself and her family a comfortable life, she also desires to make a name for herself.

Physical Description: Kai is fairly short (5'3") and weighs only about 120 lbs, she has pretty pale skin, long auburn hair, and green eyes, Her face is a soft heart shape.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

  • You are required to have one negative fact in your "Interesting Facts" section. This is to ensure your character has some depth and a weakness coming into our little world.
