    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is the term used to describe in RPG's where someone uses knowledge or information from outside the RPG and then uses it to their advantage inside the RPG. An example of this would be if I were to look up where the secret chests are for Skyrim on the internet and then use that information to my advantage to find them in-game.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is the term used to describe people in RPG's that force others to do things or be things they don't want to be. They also make their character overpowered or god-like in order to get what they want. An example of this is if friend 1 wanted friend 2 to lose to his character every time so friend 1 keeps saying that his level 2 character sliced his friends level 15 character's head and arms off in one swing, effectively killing him.
