Born in the hallowed city of Lareh'thilln, into a family of middling wealth and status. Ylyndor never new his mother, for she had died in bring him into this world. He was never treated cruely by his father, but his father, Calendor, always demanded more, for nothing Ylyndor ever did seemed to be enough. His father pushed him into becoming a merchant like himself. Ylyndor proved he was quite capable as a traveling merchant, yet he resented it. Hated being forced down this path in life. So he often fought and quarreled with his father. Until one day, on Ylyndor's 57th year, his father fell gravely ill whilst they were travelling together in Sutica. All of their money was spent trying to cure him, yet nothing could assuage him. They traveled through many nations, from Hanse to Norland. Slowly, at the young age of 174, Calendor drifted off into his last sleep. Ylyndor mourned deeply his father loss. And so he began to travel. Aimlessly at first, yet over the months it turned into a quest for knowledge and discovery. Both of himself and the world around him.

As I step of the boat and take in the sights, sounds, and smells. Especially the smells. My hand compulsively drops to my sword, "Depends on the day I suppose." I give a small shrug. "You got an offer friend?" I ask with a bemused interest.
