Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Rei leaned on the tree looking tired and defeated. "Want my story?" he looked at her, eyes showing clear lack of sleep. His hand shook a bit as he ran it through his hair
"happened when I was young, Real young" he stared at the ground, kicking a rock. "Those high elves bastards burned everything. Mom, dad, friends all dead" his voice cracked. "Everyone I knew, just gone"
He looked up at the stars, trying not to cry like some damn kid "Been walking around ever since, Gets lonely, you know?" He tried to laugh but it came out wrong "Real lonely"
Rei wiped his nose with his sleeve. "Just want someone around. Someone to talk to, Share food with. Call family, hell even fight and argue with sometimes" he shrugged, embarrassed now. "Whatever"
"Dunno why I told you all that," he mumbled, turning away. His boots dragged in the dirt as he started walking off "thx stranger" he whispered as he walked away
his back facing her.
