    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use knowledge you learned out of character that your character doesn't know to gain an advantage. You should always play in character and if your character doesn't know something you need to act it out like that. (Ex: you know all about how magic works by reading a wiki page then suddenly your character does as well)
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when you force something to happen (ex: you cut off someones hand therefore forcing the person to no longer have a hand) instead of attempting to do it and allowing the other person to choose what happens (ex: you attempt to cut off X's left hand)

Gumi grew up with her parents and elder sister in a small village. Her parent’s were both avid users of Arcane Magic while her sister practiced the blade and wasn’t fond of magic. Gumi however looked up to and admired both her elder sister and her parents. As such she has an interest in learning magic due to her parents and her sister taught her a little bit about how to use a sword. She also practiced drawing but never got very good at it and is still improving. Gumi was friends with one of the Human boys living in her village and they played all the time every day she looked forward to hanging out with this young boy and his friends. But one day when the boy was around 16 and she was about 18 the boys friends had convinced him dark elves were evil and had to be purged from the village. So one day he and his friends burned down her parent’s house while her and her sister were out in the woods practicing swordplay. Once her and her sister had returned from training they were terrified they were hiding in the woods nearby looking from afar as they saw the house burning and her parents dragged out to the front of the house by her “Friend” and his gang. Her sister covered her eyes so she didn’t see their parents die. Her sister looked at her and simply said “We need to leave we aren’t safe here.” and so they fled the village and ran and ran until eventually they ended up at Talons Grotto.

Physical Description: A Tall, Slender, Girl with Long White Hair and Blue Eyes. She's wearing a nice pink and black dress and weighs in about 145 lbs at 6'0"
Roleplay Scenario:

*Gumi looks at the man with a smile* “Hello good sir! I come here looking to make some new friends and hopefully find a place where I can be safe actually....” *Her face turns from a smile to more of a curious look* “Have you seen my sister around by any chance? She has Long white hair just like me but grey eyes and carries a sword at sheathed at her waist.” *Gumi quickly draws a sketch of what her sister looks like and shows the man* He would smile back at her and point towards the direction he saw someone who looks like that walking by. *Gumi smiles at the man once more* “Thank you so much kind sir!” she says as she walks off in the direction of her sister.

 as for your question, a soul stone is basically a means of quick travel between places. you can bind your ss to different pillars in settlements, it tps you basically to those pillars it is bonded to.
