You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Oh... I've never had anyone ask me this in a long time." I sigh with a heavy breath and take a seat. "It'll be a long story, contrary to how I look"
"About 60 years ago, when I still lived in celia'nor, I ran. I got tired of life being trapped in a bird cage all day, having maids and servants at my every call. My parents restricted my every move, trapping me in the house and garden, forbidding me to be anywhere outside of these areas. Every single day I had to learn about history, politics and all these other useless things. So when I saw the opportunity for freedom, I took it. It was a eerie night when I had heard a loud explosion. Looking out the window, I saw bandits jumping from rooftops towards the main mansion. I assumed they were trying to use me for ransom or something of that sort, I was rich after all. Grabbing my staff and my robe, I dashed out the back door and booked it towards the woods. Of course, it wasn't easy to escape, them having tracing magic and all. But I along the way i had found adventurers on a quest, so I hid amongst them and asked for their protection. Having nothing to offer, they should have rejected me, but on a whim, they had agreed to protecting me. From then on I continued adventuring through different towns and citys, finally arriving here. Obviously a lot more happened after that, but that would be far too long of a story. Although, I sometimes do wonder, did the bandits really only want me for ransom money?..."
