Diederich is farmers son that lives in whitepeak, His father is farmer named Johan, And his mother works as a tailor to help put bread on the table. Diederich is always helping is father on the farm. And is supposed to take over once his father is too old. However it isn't looking good. Every year the farm produce is less that last year. And if this downwards spiral doesn't change soon, there will be no future for Diederich and definitly no way he'll be able to support his family.
This is why Diederich is desperately searching for something else. Something that pays, and Diederich wouldn't mind it if that 'something' might be... Morally grey. Ofcourse he will much rather work fairly, and get paid fairly. However if he can't... Then money has to come in somehow.
