Yuelena grew up in Siramenor in a relatively normal household. With her mother taking care of the house and her father who hunted and gathered during the days, she was the only child of parents who tried tirelessly to grow the family. But to no avail, Yuelena spent a lot of time alone, or at least isolated from children her age. She recieved a standard education, and growing up around the Druids of Siramenor, she was always interested in the magic arts. When she finally got introduced to more people her age, her rambunctiousness often got her in trouble. Though she made lots of friends as a child, she quickly grew apart from them and replaced those friends with archery and hunting lessons from her father. He taught her the basics of defending and fending for herself.
And tragically enough, as things were eerily calm, Yuelena’s father was killed, assisting the neighboring city, Aegrothond, while helping to combat back the invading Inferi forces. This broke both Yuelena and her mother. Her mother, at that point had only learned to live with her father and their only daughter and would now have to readjust the way she lived her life. Yuelena saw this as an opportunity to leave and find her true calling in the world, and though her mother discouraged this initially because she did not want to be alone, she also did not wish to smother Yuelena's dreams, eventually coming around to the idea of her leaving their home. Be it in search of a magic teacher, or in search of good friends she could fight for, Yuelena's always felt her greatest calling was to learn as much as she can to protect those who cannot protect themselves.
Surprised by the gentlemen who'd suddenly approach, Yuelena replies, “For a magic school, llir, to teach me more about the magical arts.. And a good tavern never hurt." She'd let out a light giggle. She moves to close the gap between her and the stranger, pulling out a map. "Perhaps a gentlemen like you could point me in the right direction?" She lets out another small giggle, looking up to the gentleman now.
