Brayan was born to simple means and simple parents. He spent much of his life living peacefully on his parent’s farm outside the city of Marna. By all regards he should have been content and happy, his family was healthy, and they did relatively well for themselves, but this was not so. As Brayan would work in the fields he would often dream about leaving the farm and fighting battles in distant lands. He would watch the road that passed by their farm for any traveling merchants and would run madly to their cart when one passed. Brayan would be filled with questions about the frozen lands and anything to do with the outside world, he would have to be dragged back to farm in fear that he would ask question all day. As time went on and Brayan became a teenager his dissatisfaction with his life became increasingly evident to his parents. Eventually, Brayan’s father Aaron saw that his son would not follow in his profession of farming, rather he was doomed to make the same mistakes he made so many years ago, so with a heavy heart he began training him in the basics of the sword.
Seasons passed, and Brayan began to resemble a man. His body became muscled and fit from the combination of farming and sword practice. By no means was he a swordsman but he could hold his own if he had to. As Brayan became older the desire to leave him reached a boiling point and one night he told his parent his plans to set out on his own. They were devasted but knew it was coming for along time. The following week Brayan set out at the age of twenty to explore and carve out a name for himself.
