Baggard is a dwarf from a long line of proud dwarves before him as they came from the deepsouth in cold isolation.
He has grown distrustful and even hateful of elves as when he was once working in Fenn for need of his master masonry, as he was working he was struck in the eye by an arrow from an elf that thought it would be fun to use a dwarf on a wall as target practice.
With the loss of his eye baggard tends to sometimes stumble into tables and other objects as he cannot see them.
With the loss of his sight, baggard stays in his old mountain hall and continues to expand it as it's his only thing he knows he can do with only one good eye, but as he stays in he finds himself a mushroom farm tender as to not have to leave his hall and expose himself to elven archery.
