    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is basically when you are unrealistic with your movement or actions, and consistently force an outcome through your roleplay. For example, my halfling punches the orc in the stomach to the point he dies.
    Therefore, it forces an outcome and an unrealistic one.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you acknowledge something in roleplay that you've only learned of out of character. For instance, if I found out someone was the secret son of a king, and was told this through messages. But then say it to everyone in roleplay.

Physical Description: John de Haut is a battle hardened Highlander, tall and broad-shouldered, his build encapsulate his years on Campaign. His face is angular and long.
Roleplay Scenario:

John de Haut stoops into the tent, eyes narrowed upon the candlelight. He then settles, stiffly onto his cushion, a hand palming his sword hilt. "If you've awaited me, then you know my name. My name is John d'Haut, you know of me, Why am I here?" "Well, then, I will speak. I was born of two worlds, and belong to neither. My mother was a Norlandic woman of harsh lands, she has given me the blood of the north. My father, a stern heartlander knight, taught me everything I know. He rose me up within the outskirts of the city, and gave me a sword; They both have passed on now, but I hold their memories within my heart every single day. I am a mercenary now, for hire. I serve who pays the best."
