A high elf who never fit in, rebellious as a child and tended toward honing his skills as a fighter and as a ranger. Aloof from society. Has a chaotic neutral view of the world but can also can be more tender and kind than expected under his odd exterior. Feels like the world never did him any favours and when his father was killed he was even more distant for years. Has no family who care for him and grew up with few but very close friends. Though he is a high elf many other elves have disproved of him as he was unusual for his choice to pursue more physical activities rather than the normal study of magic that high elves conventionally follow. Many other elves called him a half breed and other worse names as no one knew who his mother was. She may have been human. Thalion was Illyons father and he would never speak of his mother. No other elf knew where he came from and had a difficult childhood. Though quite young for his age he chose to leave home in pursuit of happiness. He met a girl of a similar age and a few other companions. Illyon was happy until he realised he had become to attached to the group and the girl, Falliom. After this he knew that he could not lose them again and decided to leave the group without any notice. They may try to look for him but he was skilled and knew that they would never find him unless he allowed them to. A character you do not want to provoke, skilled but also quick to temper and will get into fights he cannot win more often than not. Illyon is secretly a storywriter and has only told one person. The tough and mysterious elf he may be but all he wants to do is write about his adventures. He grew up in Caras Eldar but would often take trips for days when he was very young to the surrounding woodland and ofter to the sea. Illyon wished that the elves would accept him as he wished to be part of the great race.
