    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Meta-gaming to me is when you're Roleplaying and your character gains outside knowledge that they couldn't have known, mostly due to an ooc step-in. Like, being IC and all of a sudden, becoming omniscient of what the person you're Roleplaying with is thin
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powering-gaming is having an over-powered character that is flawless and has the upper hand in almost every situation. If someone is trying to kill your character, without giving the attacker a chance to react, you force an action onto them.

Mael, slightly startled, looks at the man and returns a warm grin. He scratches the back of his neck and clears his throat before answering. “Hello! Thank you for welcoming me! It is a pleasure to be here!” Mael scans the environment in awe. He meets the man’s eyes again. “As for my reason being here, I still don’t know that yet. I’m looking for something along the lines of an adventure with companionship and other wild encounters!”
