Absolon grew up in the forests of Curon with his father, Mikael, and his brother Zenion. They all existed in pretty harsh conditions, having to fight the elements, but they were the Highlander varients of humans, so they could take on anything life threw at them. The three of them lived in a relatively small hunting cabin where they all would hunt and sell the goods to get by. Absolon was the youngest in the family of 3, his mother, Jasmine, had died while giving birth to him, so he has no recollection or memories of her. Mikael was a soldier for the Holy Orenian Empire and a great hunter, so he used this to teach both Absolon and Zenion how to fight, Absolon was learning the skills of a soldier and became an amazing hunter/tracker because of his dad. Absolon had only left the house to hunt and develop his skills, he was rather sheltered from the world and didn’t know very much about it. He had known only 2 people his entire life and he was beginning to realize at the age of 18 he needed to get out more, but, sadly when he had turned 19 his father passed away. Absolon’s brother, Zenion, had actually built a ton of animosity and hatred towards Absolon, the reason being is because he was simply better at certain things. This jealousy turned into complete and utter hatred, to the point where Zenion claimed the cabin and tried to banish Absolon from it. Absolon had tried to reason with Zenion and explain to him how ridiculous he was being, the situation escalated and Zenion lunged toward Absolon with his sword, Absolon dodged it and Zenion tripped and landed on his own sword, killing himself. Then, just like that, Absolon was alone, knowing no one. He remained to live in the hunting cabin and continued to hunt to try and get by, but he started to hate the silence, so much so that he didn’t even want to be there anymore. At the age of 20, he packed up everything he could fit onto a wagon. He didn’t know much about the outside worlds so he took a road and stuck to it, wherever it took him, that was for fate to resolve for him.
He would look up at the man, trying to process what was just said as he wasn’t really paying attention. “Uhm, I don’t really know, I guess just something different. I mean I’m not from around here and definitely not used to the city life, to be honest with you, I’m hoping to be out of here as soon as possible.” He looks at the gentleman with a straight and almost emotionless face as he steps past him, continuing onward towards the city.
