Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

He would take a seat slowly, glancing back ever so often to the opening of the tent. "My... story?" Efran paused for a second, trying to find anything in his head. "If I'm being honest, I don't quite remember much. Last thing I remember is being on a ship with my family, then it kind of cuts off after that." He leans forward, looking down at his scared hands. He sat in silence for a few minutes, trying to recall anything after that specific moment, but there was nothing. "The Last thing I remember after that is waking up on some random beach, my family gone..." Oh right, his family.
He quickly rose from his seat, eyes filled with determination and worry. He needed to find his family. "I-I need to go. I hope to see you again sometime in the future, uh.... I don't know your name.." He chuckles lightly before quickly turning his back to the old hag. He takes a determined first step out of the tattered tent, goals set on his mind. Find his family, and figure out what happened to their ship.
