Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Startled by the sight of another sign of life, the fumbled with her worn saddle bag, eyes darting between the woman and the cushion. Feeling a sense of unease, yet determination to kickstart a new journey, she took a deep breath and walked over. Pulling her saddle bag over her figure, she placed it beside her as she sat on the cushion, eyes darting around the dying trees and slight fog around them.
Finally, she set her eyes on the woman, "..Ah.. well.. there's nothing too extravagant about me." Her tone soft and carrying a hint of nerve. "There's a lot.. I could say but- I just left my home of Haelun'or, or rather Vailor in search for a new beginning, is how I'd put it. You might be wondering why someone like me would be travelling so much.." Gesturing to her worn saddle bag placed against her, "You know.. when I was younger, I'd always wanted to live somewhere where.. I wasn't seeing familiar faces- You know, elven faces- if you get me.. the feeling of being somewhere new and seeing new faces is the driving factor to why, I'm here now."
She smiled to herself and looked down, fidgeting with the fabric of her dress, "However, so far I have no regrets leaving my town.. not one, I sense that fate has brought me here, to Aevos for a reason."
