Wilhelm was the bastard son of a couple who were not in wedlock. He stood in the world as a lesser man than all; he couldn't inherit his father's belongings, home, or any titles he had once held. He had learned to farm, fish, and hunt. He farmed the fields at a young age, and had created flour and bread from a young age too. When he was out hunting, his Father had left him behind in the forest. He was lost, and had didn't know the way back him. He stumbled around in the forests, trying to find his way home. Unbeknownst to him he only got himself even more lost within the deep twisting grove. He eventually learned he was alone, his Father had truly abandoned him. He began to live on his own, killing deer and fishing. He eventually made a makeshift hovel.
When he was the age of 17, he had found his way out of the forest. He had walked around every day since his abandonment. He stumbled onto a roadway, and began to run around. He wanted to find his family, now that he was on the road he knew he could get home. When he got gotten to where his parents had lived, he found his home destroyed and ripped apart. He searched in vain, and found nothing. He had begun to wander on his own again, having left the forest. He resorted to petty crime and poaching.
