    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Focusing more on the group aspect of roleplay. Not everything is about you! You need to be willing to work with other people so that everyone benefits, not just yourself.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: It can give you an unfair advantage through gameplay. I play Dungeon's and Dragons and personally know how frustrating it is when someone metagames, because then you feel like you are at a disadvantage. It takes away from characters and their established characteristics while giving the person who is metagaming a fair advantage.

Physical Description: 6'10", Khaki Green Skin, Green eyes, Chain Mail armor fashioned to look like a cowboy outfit. Cowboy hat.
Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Colt stays where he stands for a moment before finally sitting down, albeit hesitantly, "You must know my story if you've been expecting me," He replied, voice deep and raspy, "I know your folk don't take to kindly to me around here. I just love the little stories y'all make up about me,"

 

Colt leaned back in his chair and chucked slightly, "I know y'all think I'm a bad man, but I ain't," He leaned forward, elbows against his knees. His voice dropped lower, "I'm just doing what y'all are too scared to,"
