His farther (Amanndil) and mother (Hurriel) lived in the Citidal of the Snow elves . Back in the times where snow elves were more sociable to other races his mother was visiting a good friend of the family in the forest dwarves region. A hafling (tinsbun), a well known trader. on her way back his  Mother was ambushed and murdered by a band of Gundabad wargs near the grasslands of the forest dwarves. His farther being a high commander in the military and close relations to the high priestess demanded to sweep the eastern lands of all wargs and orcs. His son (Fin mer) of course being brought up on a militaristic childhood and warrior blood in his veins wanted to fight alongside his farther. The high General did not agree to this and marched out with his elite army behind him, leaving his son to dwell into deeper, more darker arts. The son took a worrying interest in the knowledge and power of their cousins, the dark elves. Their power intrigued him and their highly dangerous reputation impressed him. He sought to find more about them and harness their power and knowledge for his own. The general came back with his army victorious, depriving the land with any dark creature, earning himself an outstanding reputation. Greeting his son, he is petrified of his discovery of his sons obsession for power. He retired and brought his son along with him outside the citidal into a barren land on the edge of the snow elves region. He wanted no one to know the status of his son and tried to reason with him and end this madness. His son was already too far gone and murdered his own farther in is sleep. With the Snow elves thinking the respected general died of age, they now look to the son to take his place. Now he travels the world, seeking more power and knowledge of this dark origin
