    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Giving your characters a high advantage over others without giving the other person a chance to fight back

Echo Alithii Citrius was born in Ceru, Asulon and lived in peace with with her elder brother. As a young elfling, her mother had died due to an illness shorty after we was born. Quickly after her mother’s dead, the father had been consumed by despair and hatred for the child thus started the abuse. At the age of 7, her elder brother has had enough of the father’s abuse as sent her away to get food with the little money they had. Upon her return with the freshly bought food, the house was silent and before she knew it, her brother had come out covered in blood which she could only guess that could be the blood of her father. Her brother spotted her and quickly took her away from the crime scene to live in quiet for the next 12 years of her life before her elder brother’s life was loss in the Iblees' War. Due to her lack of emotions she received from her parents at a young age, she doesn’t grief for them. She only grieves for the loss of her elder brother. As she matures, Echo slowly grows out of her stage of grief and creates a personally that can be misleading upon the few many encounters.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Also, the war with Iblees took place in Aegis, which took place prior to Asulon. Please refer to the Wiki and the forums for up to date lore.
