    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using outside Knowledge to benefit your character. If you study up on somebody's character, learning everything, and using outside knowledge to defeat OP characters, that is using Outside Knowledge.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: It is giving the other person no chance to make a decision, such as "he would slash off his arm." Because the character must have a choice in order for something to happen to their own character.
