    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: I try to ignore it if it's too obnoxious. If it's not too bad, I try to encourage them to be more responsible in roleplay.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: It ruins the story. Sounds kind of immature, but sometimes it can break people out of their roleplay. Makes it not so fun.

Character Gender: Female
Character Age: 18
Physical Description: My character is pretty short. She's thin, has auburn hair, brownish red. And deep brown eyes. ragged green clothing due to her living in woods.
Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Without a question, Delrya sits. "Yes, ma'am. Whatever you'd like to hear." Delrya is a bit of a people pleaser and begins her story quietly, "I came from the woods beyond the gate." She stammers a bit, afraid she messed up. "I.. I hope that's alright?"
