Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"My name is Leofric Aldryc as you might have heard, my family is the family of Aldryc with its seat far, far away from here, a big castle, i've been sent to this stinking shit of a city, to find myself a Knight who is worthy of my Service. Can you see this crest?" -he'd raise his sword with a engraved hilt showing a speared dragon "My families, the aldryc dynasty got famous after Aldryc Sigridsson slayed the dragon Baleryon, he stole the dragons children and from this day on, my family is said to have dragonblood. I am the ninth born son though, the only thing i have inherited, is this ancestral armor, my brothers never were warriors. I am though. My oldest brother forbid me to use my name, he declared me a bastard because my mother was the last woman my father married. We were only half brothers and he thought that gave him the right to denounce me from the family and make me a lowly peasant."
