    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: I dont really enjoy playing as powerful characters anyway lol. Im enjoy being the side character thats just kinda there and helps when he feels like it.

Roleplay Scenario:

Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

I sit, my expression portrays zero emotion, as I don't really trust the hag.

I came from far lands to search for civilization. You see, I bring goods, goods you wont find anywhere. Im here for business.Face lights up Would you happen to be interested for such goods. I have a special price just for you. Trust me, you won't find a better deal anywhere...😏

For Powergaming, it's less about "power" as even weaker characters can powergame, please re-read the definition and adjust how you would avoid committing it appropriately. For Metagaming, please think about how it ruins roleplay, ensure to include an example scenario in your response. If you're having a hard time writing something down/or don’t know how else to word it, contact a community member. If you need help, please feel free to reach out.
